Content Author can't edit
I've tried creating widgets as both a developer and web designer and allowing everyone to edit everything in the "Configure Security" options but when I log in as a content author there's nowhere for me to edit anything. I'm using barebones cms 1.0. Please let me know if there's any other information I can provide to help track this down.

Thank you.

RE: Content Author can't edit
You have to assign the specified group(s) that a Content Editor account is a part of to the page before they can edit the content widgets on the page. "Edit Properties", select groups, Save.

The "Configure Security" option is Shortcode related.

RE: Content Author can't edit
BTW, I realize the above solution is probably going to be a bit weird. Mostly because I haven't had anyone actually use that part of Barebones CMS extensively. After you've used it for a while, let me know what you think.

RE: Content Author can't edit
Ah, I see. So you need to highlight the groups in the select multiple box. Ok, seems to be working now.

Thank you!

RE: Content Author can't edit
Multiselect boxes are checkboxes in Barebones CMS 1.1.

You're welcome.
